Racism in Schools – How to take actions

*UPDATED SEPTEMBER 13th 2025*

As the UK is currently gripped with more Far Right, extremist, Islamophobic/Muslim Hate riots thinly veiled in an attempt to blame immigration for everything (Including the awful deaths of 3 children in Southport we have started to take action.)

Check out this thread of some of the significant, racist incidents that took place during the summer riots

Education is the way forward; with the number of children continue to be seen/involved and now even speaking at/in these riots and looting/events, we as educators have a responsibility; WHICH IS NOT TO SAY IT’S DOWN TO US EXCLUSIVELY to deal with this National problem and that we have already tried this through Citizenship, PSHE, RE etc.

It is simply to say, if we did it this way before; why not try another way if it wasn’t very effective?
