Time Partners

Resources:

None!

What to do:

Working in pairs is effective at times.
Certain pairings can compliment each other in different ways.
You may pair students together in many ways.
E.G:

  • SEN/D with GNT
  • BESD with role model
  • Same ability students

I have used this strategy I discussed with Sir Tim Brighouse that has been seen in many primary schools.

Give students partners for different times? Sections? Activities? of the lesson.
E.G:

  • Pair 1- first 20 mins/Starter
  • Pair 2- middle 20 mins/Main
  • Pair 30- final 20 mins/Plenary

You should notice how your pairings allow for your students to work more efficiently and learn better?
