Charity Links

A Small Change. A Bigger Impact.

I am delighted to announce that from the 2026–2027 academic year, every CPD engagement I deliver will include an additional charitable donation to three charities that are incredibly close to my heart:

UNICEF
Childline
Cancer Research UK

For many years, charitable giving has been an important part of my life. As a Muslim, I give annually through Zakat, one of the Five Pillars of Islam. This initiative is something different. It is Sadaqah: a voluntary act of giving beyond what is required.

I wanted to ensure that every school, trust and organisation that chooses to work with me also becomes part of something bigger. Together, we won’t just be investing in professional development. We’ll also be supporting children, families and life-changing research.

Each of these charities reflects something I believe in and have been touched by through both my personal and professional experiences:

UNICEF – protecting the rights and futures of children around the world.
Childline – providing vital support to children who need someone to listen.
Cancer Research UK – funding research that continues to save and improve lives.

Thank you to every school, trust and organisation that continues to support Try This Teaching. Your investment in high-quality CPD will now help create an even wider impact beyond the classroom.

Learning that inspires. Impact that lasts.
