Create your own calculator race sheet…

What to do:

This activity allows students to become comfortable with using a calculator- scientific/non-scientific.

Students should be handed the worksheet and simply follow the instructions on it! The idea is for them to race through the tasks choosing when to use a calculator…

Variations:

  • Hand students subtly differentiated questions based on their current levels.
  • Ask some students to complete the activities using mental arithmetic only!
