Collective Writing/Ghost Reading

Resources:

Nothing!

What to do:

Collective Writing:

Set the students a class question; E.G- ‘What do we want to achieve from…’
Then ask students to SHOUT out their ONE sentence!
Other students should write this down verbatim, in the exact order that they are said. The Teacher should not prompt anybody and should allow the students to state whatever they wish.

Once, all students have said something and everyone has written it down… you move on to;

Ghost Reading:

Students should then read out the letter in whatever order they want. Students should again just SHOUT out their one sentence they want to read.

Variations:

Students could do this online? via www.padlet.com (Stream the comments…)
