Grid Learning

Resources:

Each pair will need a grid, a die and two green pens.

Guest post by https://twitter.com/SLT_Kat adapting original idea on here- see below.

What to do:

Create your own learning grids which can be played in pairs.
Students use the dice to determine which cell on the grid they will be responding to.  Spend about 15 minutes answering questions.

When a student lands on ‘examiner’ they are to swap books and peer mark responses so far using the green pens.
You can add images- such as the key above to represent different areas of the examination?
This is great for developing exam technique and identifying gaps in revision.

Variations:

The grid does not have to always focus on exam prep.  Each cell could contain a problem to solve, images to reflect on, dilemmas to respond to… It can be adapted to all subjects.
