What to do:

Ask students to draw a 3 by 3 or 4 by 4 grid in their books! 
Or give them this printed out on a seperate piece of paper. 
Give them these instructions:

Throughout the lesson, as I explain the content and set you tasks and summarise the learning, I want you to write down the most common words I say. Which words do I repeat often? Which do you remember…

Then collect these in at the end of the lesson and see what your students hear most from you.
You may be completely unaware?
