Noise-o-meter

The noise-o-meter

Resources:

A noise-a-meter – can be downloaded from TES Resources –

How it works:
Initially used as a way to train my students about acceptable noise levels.
Why not try it yourself?
Students can also set the level based on the instructions given?

You can use the Noise-o-Meter as a way of making an activity seem a little different too. For example if working with a group but on ‘No Voices’ on the Noise-o-Meter to encourage students to communicate differently!

Variations:

I will be adding- Library voices (whispering to a partner) and University voices (for addressing the class confidently).
