Acrostic Relay

Resources:

None!

What do do:

Put students into two teams. Line each team up, one behind the other in front of the whiteboard.
Give the student at the front of each line, a whiteboard pen.

On the whiteboard is a word, written vertically down the board. The word should be related to the learning that has taken place;

E.G:

P
H
Y
S
I
O
L
O
G
Y

Each team should add words to the board that relate to the learning that has taken place. These words could start with each of the letters on the board, they could end with them or they could just contain them- YOU DECIDE!

The winner of the acrostic relay will be the first team to correctly fill in each of the letters they’ve been given.

Variations:

Ask students to write as many words as they can think of in the time they are allowed at the board?
