Have you been asked to present an idea to colleagues?

Have you been asked to share a resource? A strategy?

Here are my top tips on how to do it effectively!

• Share with a story- create a narrative.
• Make use of dual coding / images
• Understand Cognitive Load Theory when designing your slides
• Use a clicker/ rotate
• Explain your ideas, don’t just talk through what you think
• Connect to other ideas/previously learnt/shared ideas
• Consider how your audience are grouped for discussions
• Break up periods of talk with discussions / tasks
• Smile- think about your body language and tone of voice too!
