Masked Learning

Resources: Need to make some masks? Characters are up to you…

Make the masks relevant- At the moment Apprentice is on TV! 
What to do: Simple idea! When students are asked to give their opinion or to stand up at the front and talk to the class, a way to help reluctant ones is to give them a mask… OR To help push on higher ability students they can be asked to respond/speak in the persona of the mask!  The use of the mask does enable students to contribute more in lessons whilst making it fun! Lego

Resources:   Spare lego/board game pieces.   How It Works: Give students pieces of lego/game bits and ask them to make/shape/create ‘something’ that links to a keyword/concept previously learnt.
