Poetry Pages

Resources:Download the template from hereWhat to do:Students use this page to write notes on the poems they are studying! You can print the pages back to back, or you can display the information on the board and get students to fill in the sheet.I will be printing these into groups of colours. The colours will be linked to themes.I will not be asking students to write the name of the poem on the sheet. Students will need to look, read and figure out what poem it is from the information they have written. Variations:Thanks to @fkritson for these suggestions:‘To stretch – do a reader response, evaluate, link/compare ones (e.g. you could do a book shape for reader) For extension work get them to write up into a paragraph.
