What to do:

Ask students with specific difficulties such as:

  • ADHD
  • Autism
  • Mental Health issues
  • Medical difficulties
  • Dyslexia
  • Physical Disability
  • Hearing Impairment
  • Oppositional defiance
  • Downs Syndrome
To answer the following questions for you:

What do you find difficult day to day in school?

What do other students not know about you?

How could your time and learning at school be better?

Why do you find homework difficult?

How can other students be more understanding of you?

Once you have interviewed a few students of different ages for each of the difficulties. Then do the following- using adults in silhouette ask them to speak the messages on behalf of the students onto film. Using a variety of staff/voices is important.

For more information regarding these above difficulties- click here

The aim of this video clip is to show to all staff and students to help enlighten them about the day to day difficulties some students face.
