Eureka Jar

Resources:

An empty jar

What to do:

I noticed this idea on twitter thanks to @ActionJackson
MT: @Actionjackson Fill up a jar with notes of things that made you smile/appreciate. Dip in when feeling low! pic.twitter.com/NuUvEG6J89

How about using this with your students? Have an Eureka Moment Jar. When a student ‘gets it.’ Ask them to write down why/how and put it in your jar. Label the slip by the topic. Get students to dip into the Eureka Moment Jar when any student is particularly struggling.

Variations:

Do not write the topics down, ask students to guess based on the eureka moment?
