4X4

Resources:
A3 paper with the template printed on it

How It Works:
After students have produced a draft design for a piece of practical work, the 4X4 grid is used to support critical feedback from peers.
Using the success criteria, the first student will comment on what has worked well and what would be even better if.
The template is then passed on to the next peer assessor … and the next … and then to the final critic.

Variations:
The template could also be used for written work. Students write a draft paragraph in the middle and then the 4 peers feedback.
