What to do:

When holding revision classes for your students, why not hold them in the assembly hall? Gym? Sports Hall? Drama Studio? Where ever, the students may infact sit their real exam.

This is called context dependent learning…

The idea is to use the ‘everyday objects’ found in that location and link them to an important concept/keyword/phrase/idea for that particular exam!

E.G- The clock in the school hall- when students are sitting an exam- ask the students to link the idea of time with… or the Curtains on the stage; are they a particular colour? Make the link to examination topics?
