Format?
SLAMed is a poetry event run by teachers, for teachers. Ditching the usual formalities of some professional networking events, SLAMed favours a more relaxed approach and is all about having a good time and a laugh with words. There is no pretentiousness here.Whether you have a sonnet about SEND, an ode to Gove, or a ballad about bad behaviour, we think the world needs to hear it.Come along, poem in hand, and let loose on the mic! Whether you want to perform or not, the night will be a great opportunity to witness some great (and some awful*) poetry, but also a chance to network and have fun with your fellow teachers.*@PositivTeacha will provide all awful poetry.
We are planning some very special guests to show us how its done too!First confirmed performer- who will show us, amateurs how its done is @IbrahimSincere[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyWD-Y0iLPg]
