World Cups!

Resources: Use the various links I have provided to source out information!

What to do: As you will be aware World Cups grace us with their presence once every 4 years! Why not use this as a teaching opportunity!

  • Create a Sweepstake for colleagues? Students? Classes?
  • Use my template Here or Here is one I have created for Twitter!
  • Get students to find out facts, statitistics, flags, national foods, history, landmarks and so on about the countries. Ask them to work out who their neighbouring countries are. Famous musicians, scientists and so on!
  • E.G- Famous Pakistani Scientists- click here!

Variations: Get students to pick 10 alternative countries they wish were in the world cup and do the above too? Check out this post- Mathletics!
